Content and structure
The Technical Theatre Arts programme is a full-time day course with a very busy schedule, especially during the first two years. Besides attending classes, during the evenings and weekends you are also expected to visit performances, read study material and carry out the necessary preparatory work. On the whole you must be prepared to devote approximately 30 hours per week on class and project time and 12 hours per week on preparation.
During the first two years of your study, emphasis lies on obtaining a solid, theoretical basis of knowledge and skills. In the third and fourth year, the accent shifts to applying and combining your acquired know-how. Your training then gradually assumes the form of individual or group-based assignments and projects. During the third year you will also complete two internships.
