Admission and application
Please note: the language of instruction for this study programme is Dutch!
Minimum requirement for admittance to the Technical Theatre Arts study programme is a Dutch HAVO (Upper General Secondary Education)-, VWO (University Preparatory education)- or MBO (Upper Secondary vocational Education) diploma or a foreign equivalent thereof. Extra requirements demand that you have sufficient grades in the subjects mathematics and science.
A maximum of fifteen students can be admitted annually. Because there is a surplus of applications for the study course, a selection procedure is necessary. You are obliged to write a letter of motivation, to complete several assignments (for example, an account of a theatre performance) and take part in a selection interview.
No mathematics or science?
Do you possess the required diplomas but lack sufficient knowledge of mathematics and science? To remedy this you may follow a transfer or summer course at a technical college of higher vocational education (for example the Hogeschool van Amsterdam) in your area or take an entrance exam in these two subjects.
