Route Description
To get to DasArts from Amsterdam Central Station by public transport:
Tram: Take tram 9 from Central Station and get off at ‘Halte Mauritskade’. It is a one-minute walk from there (see: map below).
Bus: Turn left to the bus-station (‘Halte Oost’), leaving the main entrance at the Central Station. Take Bus 22 - direction Indische Buurt. Get off the bus at ‘Halte Mauritskade’.
Metro: You can also take the Metro 51/53/54 at the Central Station. Get off the metro at ‘Halte Weesperplein’. From here it is a five-minutes’ walk, or take Tram 10 - direction Javaplein. Get off the tram at ‘Halte Alexanderplein’. It is a tree-minutes’ walk to the Mauritskade.
To get to DasArts by car:
Take exit s113 on the A10 ring road towards the centre of town. Follow the Middenweg. Drive straight on (Middenweg-Linnaeusstraat) until you reach the roundabout at the end of the Linnaeusstraat. Take a left on the roundabout, follow the signs ‘Centrum-Museumplein’. Keep the waterway on your right hand side. Turn left (almost immediately: after 200 meters), when you see the signs of ‘Amstellyceum’ and ‘Kleurgamma’. You can park your car on the parking lot in front of the school. (Please Note: parking fees are charged in Amsterdam!) DasArts is situated at the end of the street, at Mauritskade 56.
