Admission requirements
Apart from the minimal requirement of a diploma equivalent to the Dutch HAVO level, candidates for the Dance Teacher Course must meet a number of specific requirements.
The course is open for applicants between the ages of 17 and 24. Enrolment is preceded by a selection procedure. International students must meet equivalent requirements.
In addition to these statutory requirements, applicants to the Dance Teacher Course must comply with a number of other, more specific demands. Candidates are expected to have taken several years of classes in ballet, jazz dance and/or modern dance and to have attained a certain level of proficiency. Along with this, the results of the selection procedure are decisive for admittance to the course.
Orientation weekend
Friday 12 and Saturday 13 February 2011
The orientation weekend of the Dance Teacher Course is a possibility to get an impression of the course and the classes that are taught here. It can also be used as a preparation for the auditions in March. Amongst other things there are classes in classical dance, jazz dance, improvisation and composition. The classes are taught by teachers of the Dance Teacher Course. Along with the classes a side programme will be organized, with dance videos and a lunch. Students of the school will assist in the programme.

First audition: 18 and 19 March 2011
Second audition: Friday 1 April 2011
Final audition: Saturday 2 April 2011
