Audition
The School for New Dance Development is looking for students who are very motivated to become a dance maker/choreographer. Students who want to widen the range of their movement vocabulary, challenge their existing view points, expand their creative processes, and develop performance work. They are also encouraged to make considered choices in creating a position for themselves in the profession and to be aware of the aesthetic and social implications of their work.
The School will make a pre-selection of candidates that are invited to the audition days in March 2011 (10-11-12).
Auditions
The auditions consist of technique classes, movement research, creative assignments and an interview. Sending a DVD with your work is optional. A solo has to be prepared to be able to show during the auditions. The duration of this solo should be a maximum of 3 minutes and show the prospective student's view on dance. After the second day a first selection will take place.

The deadline for application is Monday 14 February 2011. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.
