Andra Perrin graduated from the Modern Theatre Dance department of the Theaterschool in Amsterdam in 1998.  She created work at Danswerkplaats Amsterdam between 1999 and 2004. 'Anser Caerulescens caerulescens' was a grouppiece performed at Felix Meritis in 2000. 'Les Funambules Intérieurs' a research project on location at the Rijkshemelvaartdienst in Amsterdam West made in 2001. In 2002 she created a piece for the Modern Theatre Dance department of the Theaterschool Amsterdam working with chance operations. She received her post-graduate degree at Dance Unlimited in 2004.
