The dance courses of the Amsterdam Theatre School cover the entire field of dance, ranging from age-old traditions to the latest innovations, from the youngest junior dancer to the outstanding master of dance. From classical dance to jazz and musical dance, from choreography to dance teacher, every education prorgramme has its own goal, its own curriculum and its own atmosphere.

The educations at the Amsterdam Theatre School are unique for the inspiring dialogue between the different programmes: about the art of dancing, its relation to theatre, to technology and to other disciplines within the school. In addition, the educations are in close contact with the diverse and dynamic professional body, within the Netherlands  as well as abroad. That way, the Theatre School offers courses oriented at the future to a new generation of dance artists.
